Whoopi Goldberg is walking, breathing, and living proof that leftism makes people irreparably meaner and dumber. She is trying to out-Behar her joyless colleague on The View in terms of outright cruel inanity, and she might actually be succeeding.

After taking a few weeks off to open a Kindergarten textbook about the origins of the Holocaust, Whoopi came back none the wiser and none the kinder. She is so filled with hate and propagandized talking points that she is simply a lost cause.

This time, Whoopi sounded off on the belief system and structure of the Catholic Church. Now, not being a member of a particular community doesn’t preclude you from having opinions about it, but at least base those opinions in fact. Whoopi, as always, forgot the latter rule.

Here is Whoopi trying to educate her idiot viewers and panelists on Catholic practices dating back 2,000 years:

“The abortion rights battle is starting to blur the lines between church and state. The archbishop of SF – mmm – is calling for Speaker Nancy Pelosi to be denied receiving communion because of her pro-choice stance.

He’s one of the priests who also called for President Biden to be denied the sacrament.

This is not your job dude. That is not, you cannot, that is not up to you to make that decision. You know, what is the saying?

It’s kind of amazing, but, you know, what is the point of communion, right? It’s for sinners. It’s for sinners. It’s the reward of saints but the bread of sinners. How dare you. How dare you.”

Whoopi makes so many erroneous claims that it’s hard to know where to begin. This is not a separation of church and state issue, so there’s that right off the bat. But since she mentioned it, I wish Whoopi had been so concerned about the state imposing draconian rules on church attendance during the worst of Covid politicking.

It’s also interesting to note that Whoopi identifies those receiving communion as sinners. That is certainly true – we are all fallen – but to use that in relation to the withholding of communion specifically for pro-abortionists and citing their sin as the need for the body and blood of Christ kind of makes our point, doesn’t it? Short of saying it explicitly, Whoopi is letting us all know that pro-abortionists are sinners specifically because of their actions against the unborn.

Her mistakes are endless, however her dumbest comment simply has to be that she thinks it isn’t the archbishop’s job to decide who receives the holy sacrament.

The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro offered the most succinct rebuttal to this nonsensical comment:

“That is literally his job.”

Elon Musk’s new-and-improved Twitter offered some terrific additional feedback. This meme about sums up the cognitive dissonance of leftists.
